Keep him. My mom always said that things happen for a reason and it appears that old Buddy will be a great companion for you. The special ones sometime find their way into your life this way. My daughter's (now ex) boyfriend bought her a Rat Terrier and when she brought it home I was not happy at all. I never liked small dogs and besides, we already have a German Shepherd. Well, little Gracie has turned out to be one of those special "once in a lifetime" dogs, so you just never know. At the very minumum, give him a place to stay until his owner claims him or you find him a new home. What's the worse that can happen? You end up with a great companion? Scott
