My old "swaybacked" garage has been needing some expensive TLC for some time. I figured since work gets slow this time of year, I'd go ahead and get the roof fixed. I'm also gonna add 3 courses of block to the walls so I'll have an inside height of 9 feet.
To do that, the old roof has to come off. Not just the shingles, mind you... Every piece of wood on this ol' thing is getting thrown in that borrowed grain truck. I just parked it down there the other day. I should've known better than to open up a roof this time of year. Seems every time I have a roofing project, the weather takes a turn for the worse. The report is calling for an Arctic blast of air this weekend. I guarantee you it's all my fault. : )
