Dr. Evil, I have to disagree with you. Over the last 35 years, I've had loaders on a JD A, 620, and 70. I've also had a 4430 with loader. The newer one is obviously in a different class altogether, but all of the others worked just fine. The A is less than ideal with no power steering and no live pto,though I didn't know better back then, but the 620 with narrow front end was a wonderful loader tractor. The 70 would have been as well if it had live PTO. The hand clutch was never a problem and the narrow front ends are extemely maneuverable.
