Whoo! The whole idea behind the 1010 Special when it was built was to have a price-competitive tractor for limited applicatons. Its origins go back to the JD 40 in the early 50's. The power steering could be done relatively easily but the cost would be high. Live PTO would require a later model clutch and who knows what else. If you need both, you'd probably be better off to buy a different tractor.
