Rob-- Just a thought, on top of your gov. housing where your linkage is there is a gov. spring that is held to the gov. arm. Your spring is bolted to the arm with a bolt and a lock nut. Loosen that nut and make sure that the bolt is all the way in and tight then tighten the nut. If that bolt is alittle loose or not seated that may be your problem. Just a thought. Luckydog
