Need quick advice by 1-1-07 on pricing a stuck JD

Going down tomorrow morning to look at a 1950 John Deere A with powerblock, and has the engine stuck. (newly stuck, had Kroil put in the cylinders last summer to help free it). Front tires are new and rear are about 50%. Missing the front grills. Located in Michigan. Said $1000 or best offer. How much do you think I should offer the seller? Thanks in advance!
