Brian, we need more info to help you. It really depends on "how" you know this man. Is he a neighbor? Do you have other transactions with him?
Is he an old-timer in bad health that lives next door? Then maybe $15 hour
If he is an over-paid city slicker big shot horse raiser that comes to look at his "farm" on the week end? Then maybe $50 hour
