Pic and link are ones I posted a while back of a JD B drill on rubber. I hope you can put the drill to use. John Deere made many versions of the B drills from 40s to sometime in early or mid 50s. It shows the B model drill in JD pocket ledgers I have from 1948-51 but no longer lists the B model by 1958. I wouldn't rule out they made B drills up to late 50s or early 60s when the DRA drill came out. So not sure exact years when built. I do have info on B drill accessories and assembly manuals showing there were fertilizer attachements and also a hydraulic cylinder lift brackets hitch available too. I'm sure many early ones could be ordered on steel. You could get hoe press drills on steel wheels into the late 1980s!
