If you end up taking the control spool out you might want to change it to a 66 style valve.The 06 & 56 series used a self locking style stem that wore out after many years of use.Then they had you drill a hole & put a allen screw in,but now when you set the pressure the screw could be right on the edge of the indentation from the last time the pressure was set.After using for awhile it will move & then it,s loose & you will have low pressure again.
