O/T mountain climbing

Lets see if I have this straight in my mind. If I decide to climb a mountain during the worst time of the year, get buried in a snowbank, I should expect folks to find me. The sheriff said, "We failed them. We literally failed them. But we tried our best, I know that." Didn't some climbers fail to use good judgement. Anyone know how much an hour it costs to keep a Blackhawk copter in the air for an hour?
