Slipping away

I know it plays like a broken record on this forum, but here's a
sad story of a worn out farmer just trying to hang on. He's about
25 minutes from me but he could just as easily be your
neighbor.

Now if most of us want to enjoy living in scenic, rural settings,
maybe it's time state and local governments started asking non-
farm residents to help support these vanishing operations
before they become history.
Call it a "pay per view" tax or something like that. I'd do it.
Anyone feel the same or am I just dreaming.
