I have an 04 with the 6 liter and it has done that to me a time or two. If I let the truck idle for a long while then take off it leaves a large cloud of bright white smoke. Also if I start it on a cold morning before letting the little glow plug indicator go off it will do that also but not as bad as youre describing. Also please note that cold to us in College Station is a 40 degree morning. It was 72 here today. I"d take it in to another dealer though. Caleb
