I too have had problems with Ebay/Paypal security. Ebay does indeed own Paypal, but doesn't want to take responsibility for the problems that comes with it. Back about my own experience, contact Ebay security thru their own site, NOT any supposed links you may have in any of your emails telling you your account has been compromised. Ebay will walk you thru correction steps, including a conversation with one of their employees who will ask questions that only you will know the answer to, I won't divulge all the questions, but a for instance is what email address you had when you first signed onto Ebay. Don't waste any time before you contact them, the longer a breach exists, the harder it may be to fix it. Be prepared to change ALL your passwords, the scammers are extremely smart.
