Guys, When I was stillin the Panhandles we had converted our 4840s and 4640s over to the R&W Air Precleamer setup. They work really well. The air cleaners were amaisingly cleaner at service time!
Though I have never personally seen the conversion for an IH before this pic.
But since there isn't a a vertical air intake pipe on an IH, it surenogh gets te job done. It looks to be a pretty clean instalation, the only hole cut was directly over the air cleaner comming throughh the hood.
Surenough a nice lookig ol'Darlin, Gary! what a find!!! ENJOY.
