My 35 year old son had been experiencing a lot of back pain; leg even goes numb especially after spending time on tractor. Has now been told he has Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) and Artifical Disc Replacement (ADR) is being recommended. Not many done in USA yet and Blue Cross considers it expermental and won't pay for such ($80 to $100,000). I've been told a place called Senum Hospital near Bremen,Germany specializes in this ADR procedure. Wondering if anyone out there have had any experince with this place or know of anyone who has??? Would like to get in touch with anyone that has ADR!! Wondering what experiences others of you might have with DDD. Thank you
