It was just a matter of Time!--- Massey 175 Diesel

Well after a whole week of pushing snow and digging out with the ol' Massey 175 diesel, we lost the clutch last night. Just seemed to go all of a sudden like something snapped in the linkage or the finger springs broke, I was hoping for something simple but I'm afraid this might be a splitting stand job. Anybody got any ideas or places to look at before we tear into it. This is not the best tractor to use for snow removal. The split between low and high range is so big that I know the crew has been running in high range and probably slipping the clutch some . It is 63 model that we have put a ton of hours on and the perkins motor is as good as new. And hey, it is red after all and gets along with the I.H. boys here just fine. Migraine
