I guess I'm going to have the chance to make the comparison. We've had Dish for several years, no complaints. Never been out of order, runs $49 per month, including local channels. I have DSL for computer at work, but Mrs. struggles with dial-up at home. Cable is available, but they wanted $105/month for cable TV and fast internet- no thanks. Now Quest (the phone company) is running DSL up our road, and have some kind of arrangement with Direct TV where you get unlimited phone and long distance, Direct TV and DSL internet for 96 bucks a month. She signed us up, without so much as a fare-thee-well from me. Guess I'm losing whatever grip I had around here, but gotta admit, it is a pretty tasty deal.
