I have Dish and have had good luck with it and the two times in the last 4 years I needed service they were there the next day once and 2nd day the second time. I was not out of service either time. One thing I sure recommend is to get the DVR (recorder) when you get service. You cannot watch one channel and tape another but it works great when that RFD-TV show comes on at 4 AM. Maybe the best thing about the DVR is you can pause live TV if the phone rings or you need to be away from the set for a while. You come back and pick up where you left off. Also if you have Caller-ID it will show up on the TV screen when the phone rings.
