I had a Woods model that dug 7 and a half feet deep for a few years. Really beats a shovel for putting in water lines and repairing field tile. Had it on 45 HP tractor. Also is fun to use. Get one with it's own hydralic pump. They are not built for ripping down old buildings. After 8 years, sold it for more than I paid for it new. You do not find many good used ones on the market. Pete
