I'm not sure about NY laws but if it was me I'd go the extra mile. I'd have flashers out as far as the outside edges of the tires, weights or axles whatever sticks out the most. Red to the rear and yellow to the front. Your SMV of course, in good condition. Don't turn on your rear field lights, they'll blind someone behind you. And I'd also get one of those little magnetic flashers like the undercover cops stick on their cars, but in yellow not red or blue. Stick that on the top of your ROPS. And be careful.
