Guess I should have read your question more closely. The difference that is most prominent is that the gangs on the newer cultivators were basically self levelling. One the unstyled models, the outer gangs had a crank that raised and lowered them to match the depth and angle of the inner gangs. The cultivators that came out for the unstyled A's had round frame bars that held the gangs. The unstyled B cultivators had the square frame bars. After they went to the long frame B's they eventually quit making model specific equipment because the long frame made equipment interchangable between the A and the B.
