I just bought a JD 5103 with 512 loader this month. I am impressed with the power and ease of use thus far. One thing I have noticed is that it is a little light in the rear end even with loaded tires. I ordered a set of rear tire weights for it to help out when moving stuff in the woods. So far with this tractor I have used my 6ft disc, bush hog and even used the loader to clear a road in a moderately heavily wooded area around my 30 acres. It pushed up several stumps and it even took down several 8 and 10in cir trees with no problems. (unfortuantely I already dented the left fender). The over the top fenders are nice for mud but the do get in the way. Clamshell fenders would have been nicer and easier to keep out of the way. Tomorrow I will flip the tires around to widenup the tractor due to the hills I transverse. Overall with just over 20hr, I am very happy. I got it all for $17,900. Joel
