Back in '68 i went to work at a local garage, Texaco gas. Havoline oil was 25 cents/qt. We also has Quaker State, their Deluxe was a dollar/qt. Some people asked for it. Myself, i never could see it was worth the extra $$. Since then, i've done thousands of tractor hours, hundreds of thousands of car & truck miles, i've always bought the cheapest oil i could, True Value, TSC, whatever. I've never blown an engine, transmission, never had to spend big money fixing one. Whatever works for you, do it -
