Just sounds a little lean to me, gotta choke right? Or it could be like my old Case, where the choke shaft comes out of the carb the arm that was peened onto the end of the shaft was loose and the choke shaft was froze in the open position, from the outside you thought the choke was working till you looked close and saw the shaft wasnt turning, once we fixed that I could thottle up if needed right away with partial choke....just a thought
