Thanks for all the replies everyone! Ill take a bunch of these suggestions into account. As far as I know a bunch of the timber is chestnut, with perhaps some oak. Im not positive, as its pretty hard for me to identify at this point. There is still a large amount of slate on the roof, and there is plenty of barnboard, but some of it has been painted. But thanks for all the responses, Ill look in to them a little later today.
