Hugh, the State of Missouri has a new law with big signs at the side of the roads telling about it. If you hit a worker it is a $10,000 fine and loss of licence for 1 year they still don"t slow down. The man that rents our land where we live lost his son about a month ago. He was a MO DOT employee, and was putting up sign decating a portion of I 44 to a State Trooper that was killed in the same spot, when a car hit him while he was out of his cruser. Missouri has a move over and slow down law when you see an emergency vehicle. The truck driver I don"t think was charged with any thing that killed William because he did step out in front of the truck. He was 35 and left two little boys.
