Our area businesses have gotten tired of getting hit up by every organization who think they have a worthwhile cause to support. We are in our 5th year of drought and the small businesses are hurting financally just like the the farmers and ranchers are. I think they have gotten tired of seeing a load of high school kids come into their business because they know they are going to get asked to donate to something, and they have to or they might lose some of "daddy's" business.
