In Michigan, the bow hunters have had free reign since October 1, rifle hunters get Nov 15 thru 30th (WOW, lot'sa time there.) Muzzle loaders in this part of the state get Dec 1 thru 17. that's a bonus this year, however, the season is after the rifle and arrow hunters have decimated the herd. What's more, December weather can be brutal. What's more the few remaining deer have gone into deep seclusion, and you can go for days not finding anything, tracks, scat, deer, wished for deer....
