I go with Harley here. Since we don't mince words here--- I have been wondering for some time about the place you buy your machinery...coarse that all depends on what you paid for them. I never did feel that a little scratched paint made a tractor less workable. While I am at it, I will never buy a used pickup with a trailer hitch on it--never! I think this goes along with your thinking. As for the hours thing, when I was a kid (many years ago) I was told that 90 percent of the wear came in the first 5 minutes of running. Could be an old wifes tale though.
