There are several forestry operations in these parts that will buy a machine new, largely on credit. They've got one option. Run it 24/7. These are 1/4 or 1/2 million dollar machines, and that's what they do to keep ahead of the boogeyman. It's not uncommon to see 4 and 5 year old equipment pushing 10-12000 hours, and some gear that's 10 years old will have anywhere between 15 and 40000 hours. It's just about unbelivable how many hours they put on this stuff. You would literally have to see it to believe it. Rod
