I think the 88 steakeggs is talkink about was beefed up a lot......
Back in the late 50s my uncle had a new 88 that couldent stay up with my FARMALL M with a IH power pack, both pulling 3 ;14s; 8" deep in river bottom ground ........My M was in 3rd gear the 88 had to down shift to a lower gear that could not quite keep up.....
