I agree with buickanddeere. Is it using a lot of oil? or just has smoke from the breather? I've seen perfectly good engines have smoke from the breather. I had the engine in my cat rebuilt and the rings didn't seat. After they fixed it, I asked about doing a blow by test. They said it was pointless because there is nothing to compare it too. The original cat two ring pistons [I have 3 ring] used in 3204 and 3208's had so much blow by that testing wasn't an accurate way to tell the condition of the engine. Could it have a choked breather pipe? I think it might be good to do a little more diagnostics and try to figure out if something else is causing it. Hope this Helps. Dave
