I love any chetsnut tree and also American elm. Followed by black
walnuts and American Sweetgum. I've got a pretty good sized
ironwood down near a spring that runs at the back of our place.
Kind of unusual, but I like that one too. I have a few "queen of
heaven" trees I'll be getting rid of in the next year or two. Right
now, they are providing shade to a japanese walnut I planted from
seed a few years ago.
