I have had my share of Fords, including one Mustang with it not being a true Mustang. After Ford dropped the production in the mid 70's I think 72 was last, and brought them back, never were the same. I believe in buying American, but check B4 your buy ANY newer car to see where assembled, let alone where the parts were produced. My 3/4 ton 4x4 is Chevy, but my mail route car is a 95 Toyota Corolla, my wifes is a 99. My 95 I retired B4 I bought this one had 473+ K miles on it. Would still be running it, but it took to eating alternators, IE, not an easily traceable electical problem. Best part is, many are produced with American labor. Just check the origin tag first. With fuel prices, why not consider a hybrid? If Ford is your preference, they have some now, but will admit will likely be more than 15K
