I have a small Ford tractor and was using a generic teansmission- hydraulic fluid and the hydraulics were jerky and slow so I was told to use the 134 hydraulic fluid so I changed it and added a can of SEA FOAM hydraulic conditioner and now the hydraulacis work fine.I have always had Farmall tractors and I do know for sure that the hydraulics worhed best with HY-TRAN than with the other fluids. When you get something that works good , stick with it.I would drain ,flush and refill with hydraulic fluid and see what happens. If you need to , add a can of SEA FOAM.
