There is no water pump, she just thermal syphons. The coolant leaving the engine will be near or actually boiling as a normal state of affairs.
The early M's also placed the temp probe where it reads hotter than what the engine was actually running.
If she doesn't boil over, there are no problems. It will also burn less fuel and foul the plugs less when she's warmed up.
