This is a much more massive and clumsily built tractor than a Major. It is just plain ugly! The Majors I am familiar with are much sleeker styled than this. It is very primitive looking for the most part. Does not have smooth contours like the Major diesels that were sold in this part of Georgia. It vaguely looks like a primitive attempt to copy the blue and grey 3000 series Ford. I did find a brief reference to New Holland Manufacturing in India, might there be a connection? Any idea where might I find more info for him? Thanks. Gene
