Yep.. kids back then could buy heathkit parts and build 1 mghz single trace osciliscopes. Most kids nowadays don't know what an osciliscope is. And ditto on breaker points. Heck.. farmers rebuilt their tractor is the field. I have a vintage tractor manual that stated to find a tree with a sturdy limb, and to use that to hook block and tackle to to lift engine from tractor. We have made a generation that can only use a mouse or cellphone... Soundguy
