Nope I wouldn't use it in an engine but it does work well for soaking rusty things and also good for starting brush fires. I have a 55 gallion barrel in my shop full of diesel, waste oil and tranny fluid. I soak all sorts of stuff in it and when I get back to them most have freed up well enough to get them working. I also soak posts in it before I put them in the ground or use for fence or skids etc.
