I use NOAA too since CAFB is just 35 miles away. For radar I like their national mosaic link and then you can click on your local radar or where ever you want to see. Once at local radar can got to your local NWS and get more detailed info. Aviation reports, Fire reports, and other localized reports. NWS and NOAA has made lots of changes last 2 years and with FD I still do some weather spotting with them at times but really was none of that to do this year yet. You can get their reports emailed to you also or if a NOAA radio channel nearby listen to it on that too.
