Had this happen to one of my sweet corn fields a few years back. Someone drove their quad staight accross the field and back about 3 days before it was ready. Luckily they only did it once. I estimated the loss at about $100. Some of the neighborhood kids seemed to know who it was and I never had any more trouble. We have a lot of woods and open ground owned by absentee landlords around us so there are a lot of trails all around the farm. It's pretty well known by the locals they are not allowed to ride on any of my property and it has been that way for a long time. The neighborhood kids are good about respecting my property rights but we still get some non locals tresspassing a few times each year and a lot of times it isn't kids. I can't be everywhere all the time. Don't get me started. Phil
