Try cleaning the filter screens. One is in the top of the sediment bowl (sticks into the tank), another is in the sediment bowel (flat screen), and there might be a third in the elbow that goes into the carb. You also may have a plugged vent in your tank (try starting it without the gas cap) or you may have injested a "chunkie" into the carb. Sounds fuel related, though!
