You do realize that if they are wanting to buy wheat straw, you will have to combine it first right? Customers won't be happy if they buy straw and find it has heads on it still. If all you want is straw, don't plant wheat, plant triticale, it's a wheat/rye cross that tends to grow taller, giving more straw yields and cheaper seed. Modern wheat has been bred to produce short stems with big heads, not the best for straw yields.
