This looks like a "neck pumpkin" or a processing Butternut. Both are tan when mature but the vines in the photo look young so the fruit may still be green. The long neck is good because there are only seeds in the bulb and all edible flesh in the neck. Make sure it is ripe before using it. Some of these hava a 120 day or more season. If picked immature they will still mature but may not store as well. Check internet or extension office for best way to cure and store. Where did you get the seed?
