NOt all zuchinis are dark green. We've got some that re-seeded from last year, and they're a yellow variety. I think there's a paler green color too. My brother and I have a pumpkin patch and we're just starting to get set-up. Got all sorts, but it was a bad year for our pumpkins and most of the cool varieties just didn't do squat. Others did something but not enough to be worth while it seems....
