One thing I hadn't really thought about till I saw it the other day... In New England that Yankee, Connecticut Yankee, Maine Yankee, and Millstone I nuclear plants have all closed...I thing combined they where somewhere around 2,000 Mw of power capacity. And that's almost entirely been replaced by natural gas fired plants. Now we have a bottle neck problem between pipelines and LNG off-loading facilities during peak times...
