Yep, Had to have been down in the sandhills where the ranchers are still really big on loose hay. Haybusters used to be all the rage until the round balers came out. This was about the same time that Hesston came out with those "bread loaf" stackers. Late 60s or early 70s. The guy running the Haybuster really had to be on his toes tho, because if he didn"t get the stack compressed enough in the center and didn"t build the "roof" of the stack right, the center portion of the stack would "dimple in" with time and leave a depresion in the center of the stack. Snow and rainwater would then collect in the center and you eastern guys know how moisture can rot hay. Another one of those things. They used to be everywhere around here and now I can"t even find a darned picture of one. :>( Allan

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
