I agree with old, the rear ends of a tractor are much tougher then anything ever dreamed of in a car. As for the fear that the rear tires turning at a differant rates will damage the rear end consider this, who has ever worried about pulling a mounted plow with a tractor with one wheel in the deadfurrow? Back when plows were still used our tractors ran hundreds of hours with only one dual on to help with grip.
