hi JT, thanks so much for cluing me in,I didn't realize they made so few of those things. That being the case, then it really should go to a collector. My serial number is V4632016. So they only made 2300 of those things! Well, I believe I'll take your advice and see if I can't get it traded off. it's not like I was going to do something to it right away anyway. It looks like it's pretty much all original, except somebody put an alternator on it and converted it to 12 V.I asked about the old generator, and the guy said he thought he knew where it was, but then his son said no it wasn't there. That's probably not a big deal. thanks again, Tom
