Rather than doing a farmer fix and disabling two safety systems. Just purchase a couple of cheap diaphrams and a valve/seat from Mother Deere.
Low oil pressure shuts the engine down to save it should the operator run her low.
The low oil pressure shut off just about eliminates finding the gas tank empty and the crankcase full of gasoline. Should the carb needle/seat seap a little of get some dirt stuck in it.
